Approval process for lightweight marquees

Herchenbach’s lightweight marquees and industrial tents can be approved as temporary buildings if they are only erected for a short duration. If they are in use for longer, it is possible to apply for a construction permit. We’ll be happy to advise you.

Whether you want to apply for a temporary building for short-term use or for a construction permit for long-term projects, we’ll provide you with the necessary documents. We offer TÜV-inspected static plans or current inspection books including static plans for every marquee type. If you need support in the approval process, together with our experts we can offer you a complete service – from the construction application to the fire prevention concept.

The TÜV-inspected type static plans for the various types of lightweight marquees satisfy the high requirements for solid constructions, such as the wind load in accordance with DIN 1055, as well as the latest standards. For short-term use (temporary buildings), the marquee application can be immediately submitted as part of a simplified approval process. For long-term use, it is necessary to ask the local department of planning and building inspection whether a construction application needs to be submitted. If your construction is built close to existing buildings, we recommend asking the advice of a fire prevention expert.
