As a result of a rebuilding project, it was necessary to relocate a wine cellar facility for the period of a year. The problem was to maintain a uniform temperature for the wine; the maximum temperature of 19°C could not be exceeded.
It was all down to the use of insulated walls and the incorporation of inside tarpaulins for roof insulation purposes.
Despite the extremely high summer temperatures, the maximum inside temperature of 19° C was never exceeded by using cooling facilities in case of high outside temperature.
If you believe that industrial tents with tarpaulin roofs are unsuitable for maintaining such temperatures, just read the thank-you letter we received from the Weingut Weil vineyard!
